Rotary Songs

For many years the Rotary Club of Wellington was a "singing club" and had its own song book.

Singing was a regular feature of club luncheons and other events.

The club's first Secretary, Joseph William Carr, was an accomplished pianist and writer of songs for the club.

The original scores of some of those songs were returned to rthe club in 2012 by JW Carr's grand-daughter, Joy Simpson, of Auckland.

Her letter to Past President Stephen Brown is available from the link below as are copies of the scores for the songs.
